Value chain collaboration & coordination
Scaling up circular innovations requires collaboration across the entire value chain. Through the Value chain collaboration & coordination programme, Circular Plastics Foundation brings together companies and sectors, such as construction, healthcare and retail, to advance solutions and establish shared business models. We build lasting partnerships in which partners combine their knowledge, resources and ambitions
Objectives
Through this programme, we strengthen the collaboration needed to implement circular solutions across the value chain. We focus on four objectives:
- Scale up circular innovations within the value chain.
- Develop and implement shared business models.
- Connect companies from different sectors, including construction, healthcare and retail.
- Encourage lasting collaboration between value chain partners.
Current activities
We bring stakeholders together around shared challenges and support the implementation of joint plans.
Combining and aligning roadmaps
We connect companies’ individual roadmaps and identify where their ambitions, activities and investments align. This creates a shared direction with concrete steps for the partners involved.
Initiating consortia and value chain partnerships
We bring companies and other relevant stakeholders together to address a circular challenge. We help them define shared goals, roles and agreements.
Taskforces and joint pilots
In taskforces, partners focus on issues that require collaboration. Through joint pilots, we test how solutions work across multiple stages of the value chain.
Active project coordination
We support implementation by monitoring progress, coordinating actions and helping partners address obstacles. This keeps partners focused on their responsibilities and shared goals.
Access to funding opportunities
We identify suitable funding opportunities and help partnerships secure the resources needed for implementation and scaling up.

Consortia meeting on reusable packaging
The project leads of reusable packaging projects Re2Pack, ReUsify, Interpool and STOPP invite you to join this European meeting on implementing reusable packaging across the value chain. The morning brings together researchers and project leads from across several reuse projects. From 13.30, we open the floor to industry players from across the value chain — so research questions stay grounded in real-world, practical needs.
