Stack-Up Pallet reduces walking by 70%
Construction companies and property developers are aiming to deliver residential and hotel projects to increasingly high standards while reducing completion times. With its prefabricated finishing package and now the plastic Stack-Up Pallet, integrated finishing specialist Kwakman Groep promises to make this possible. “We help contractors build smarter, better, cleaner and faster.”
Together with Q-Pall Plastic Pallets, Kwakman developed the Stack-Up Pallet: a plastic alternative to bulky wooden pallets. This lightweight, demountable pallet not only reduces the physical strain on installers, but also lowers the risk of damaging walls during transport.
Each Stack-Up Pallet can hold forty plasterboards. As five to six times more material can be transported in a single truck, significantly fewer labour hours are required for return transport. The pallet packages are lifted directly into position during the structural construction phase.
The finishing materials are stored at an ergonomically safe working height, while the pallet’s low weight allows installers to carry more pallets at once. This results in 70% less walking on site, saves valuable time and maximises efficiency on the construction site.
The pilots have been very well received by contractors. This circular, demountable plastic pallet enables them to build smarter, better, cleaner and faster.
The Stack-Up Pallet will be launched in the first quarter of 2027.
